You speak but doctors don’t hear.
They see you’re not here.

You’re invisible.
So, that’s why you’re never seen.
You’re black and in pain.

How dare you defend yourself?
You’re too loud for them.

They can’t see or hear—
When they see or hear black folks.
You’re black and in pain.
