Good morning, Greatness. I tell myself this everyday because it’s true. The world wants to turn blackness to blue. I achieve Greatness. I do this everyday by writing to make my black and Indigenous ancestors proud. The world wants to shut us up, but like Ali—we are free, powerful, and loud. Goodbye, Greatness— Is something that I will never speak because Greatness is not inside of me. Greatness is me. I am Greatness. Black is greatness. America, Caribbean, Africa, Latin— All branches of the tree. Good night, Greatness. I’ll see you tomorrow, rise again, and simply Be.
